About Me
I was born and raised in the peaceful village of Majher Chapra in Ranaghat, Nadia. Growing up in a simple rural environment shaped my outlook on life. I completed my higher education at Ranaghat College, and it was during my college days that I first discovered my love for writing. Radio has been a part of my life since childhood, and listening to different programs gradually became a habit I still enjoy today.
After my marriage, I moved to Kolkata because of my husband’s government job. Over time, the city became my permanent home. I am now associated with “Sursinchon Magazine”, and I regularly listen to daily and special broadcasts on the radio. I began writing for “Pratyahiki” in 2021, and many of my original poems, songs, and stories are also shared on my Facebook profile.
Singing and listening to music bring me happiness, and I also find great joy in planting trees and taking care of them. These simple passions continue to inspire my writing and my daily life.
